Hi lovelies,

I wanted to share how much I really appreciate all of y'all's support! I've been wrapped into this whirlwind trying to still believe that I hit this huge goal of mine and it's so unreal. 10K PEOPLE, 10K!!! It's been almost 3 years since "Lace Love and Laura" has been in existence and I never really knew how rewarding the pay off from sharing things I like with others would be. It's truly incredible and mostly I love that in some way I'm inspiring you! Whether it be from my styled looks, to makeup tips and tricks, or getting that fire lit inside to be active and push your limits physically - I am most grateful for you and what I'm able to share with you.

I'm so excited over here, because I finally hit 10K followers on the Instagram!

I have been trying to reach this for quite sometime now and if y'all do the insta like I do, y'all realize what I'm talking about when I say it's so hard to get sucked into the game. There's so many influencers out there and it's so easy to get caught up in comparing your stuff with others. "Their photos are so good. Why do they have so many followers and I don't. I'm sharing the same things. I'm engaging, but my numbers are still so low. I should just give up." These have all gone through my head multiple times, and I just have to remind myself it's nothing I'm doing wrong - it's just a big sea full of fishies, and I'm one little guy trying to make my way through.

Being true to myself and who I am is key! I'm one of the girliest girls out there and I do a variety of other side things, and that's what makes me who I am so that's what I'm going to share with you all. It's too hard to try and out do others, and personally not worth it to me. I'd rather use my time encouraging others and letting them know they also are inspiring others with things they bring to the table. In short, I truly appreciate each and every one of you for your continuous support! Thank you for being apart of my writings throughout my blog. Thank you for taking those 10-15 minutes out of your day to possibly watch one of my youtube videos. Thank you for double tapping and commenting on my Insta pix. Just THANK YOU! Without you, I wouldn't be able to do this.

OUTFIT

sweater: CHICWISH | skirt: CHICWISH | shoes: AMAZON | hair: T3 | lip: "Plumful" MAC | balloons: AMAZON

Sorry for the over abundance of balloon pix, but I just had to share them all because they're so cute. My outfit is giving me all the Carrie Bradshaw vibes from Sex in the City, and I'm loving it. It's like totally my style, yet I never really have ever worn something like this out so I felt funny at first, but I loved it. So girly chic and a little extra never hurt no one ;)

I'm wearing the skirt in a xs/s and the sweater is a m/l

Ok, as soon as I saw this blouse I knew I had to have it! This top is so up my alley in every way. From the blush pink color, to the flutter sleeves, and floral accent details, ugh it's just so girly and gorgeous. The sleeves are what caught my eye a first because they're so fun. I love flowy delicate things, and these are just that. The top is a nice relaxed fitted style, making it very comfortable to wear.

Ways to Style

I think I love the fact that this blouse is so versatile and can be worn through so many seasons! Like the obvious is Spring, with the light pink color and floral accents. But really it could even be worn through Fall when styled properly.

Spring:

wear with a nice pair of skinnys (as I'm showing) or even a nice pair of white denim jeans. Throw on a cute nude wedge or heel, and you're set. You could even do these snow white booties (#nsale find!) to make it really stand out. Top it off with a classic clutch or pastel tote style bag.

Summer:

Easily change into a cute pair of shorts. I think a nice pair of destroyed denim would be real cute with this top. Rock a girly sandal or a wedge for a more glammed up look.

Fall:

As shown above, put a nice pair of denim on... a dark wash would even go really nicely. Wear a nice camel boot (Like the ones I just got from the #NSALE) and even add a cute little hat to top it off. This Baker Boy style is so on trend, or a wide brimmed fedora would look so glam too.

Simple Jewelry

statement. I decided to keep it simple to let the sleeves be the main focus. I put on my most recent number 1 go tos, which are some great designer dupes and go with like everything! A Sensible stack of bracelets, and a dangle earring, easy. Something so simple though as adding this stylish hat, totally changed up the look though for even more of a

Casual Chic in a White Button Down

Hi friends & happy Monday, or another start to a fantastic week! Today I'm stepping outside my typical style box and showcasing a basic white button down and how simple and chic it can make an outfit be. You heard me, this is something that I typically wouldn't be drawn to. Honestly because I don't really know how to style classic collard button downs, but this particular one I fell in love with!

How pretty is this blouse, like for reals tho! I always love a nice white. It's just so clean, crisp, and bright. The floral design on this blouse with the sheer in-between won me over so hard. Love love love the detailing of this blouse, even this it's so simple. Ya know sometimes less is more.

Now, I styled it a little on the sassy side here wearing a blush bralette underneath. Not gonna lie, I was a little nervous at first that I was being a little too revealing, but I started adding my accessories and it came together. You most definitely could wear a tank underneath instead tho. I also think this top would look adorable tied up in the front with a pair of shorts. You could also rock it with wearing it open obvi with a shirt underneath, or even just tied around your waist... I do that all the time with button downs, and it just adds al little extra to your look.

The only down fall of the shirt is the elastic cuffs. I like the style of them, but they jut a little tight. My forearm started tingling at one point of the day from circulation loss, lol what we do for fashion ;) I'm being a little extreme right now, but if I could I would love to make them a little looser thats all. Everything else about this shirt I LOVE! Great quality and structure and so so cute... and guess what it's only $13.

Another steal, you're welcome!

I'm wearing this shirt in a L for reference. It seems to run a tad on the smaller more fitted side, but I wanted it to be a little more baggy, especially for my long arms.

Just to touch base on some of the beauty picks of this look too... I stayed pretty neutral in this look. Did my normal face, but honestly I put on a little mascara (which I know you can't see through my sunnys), some blush, and a lip. That's it! I have all my picks below as well, but these have been my go to lips and blush as of late! So pretty and natural, it's just a great flushed pink look. Ahh love.
