Merry Christmas friends!

I know it's over, but I'm pretending that it's not because I'm just not ready for it to be. I hope you all had a fabulous holiday with family & friends. Larry & I def had a wonderful time together, even though I was still working both Christmas Eve & Day.

We made the best of the time we could. We decided to cook our dinner for 2 on the Eve to enjoy since I would be working later the next day... and I ended up getting extended anyways so Larry did all of it & it was delicious! Like I was very impressed. I didn't realize I was living with a gourmet chef all this time. Little does he know, now I'm going to be requesting him to cook all the time! Once I was home though we had a lovely dinner & watched The Grinch... which is one of my favorite holiday movies. I was so excited for Santa's arrival the next morning though I barely slept & ended up getting up extra early. Secretly I had to help him set the presents under the tree ;) and get ready for work that morn. It was so nice though to have a little gift giving that morning prior to me heading to work. We saved the bigger things for that evening once I was home again. It was all so nice & easy going even though we didn't have the days off together. We both were able to call our families and wish everyone a Merry Christmas & hear the details of their day too which was great. Eventually one of these years I won't work the holiday & we can finally all be together... eventually lol.

I thought it would be fun though if I shared what Santa brought me this year with you all!

There's lots of girly things in store, including this pink sweater! That's not the only adorable pink cozy thing Santa brought me though, there's super fluffy pompom beanie & unbelievably soft slipper socks! Also, the daintiest little rose gold layer necklace. There was more beauty things for my glopro... which if you haven't heard me talk about yet - OMG I LOVE my GLOPRO! I'll need to do a full on how to/review on it, but it's amazing & now I have more fun things to micro needle my face with! And we can't forget my new vlog equipment. This is prolly the biggest and most sweetest gift I got this year. My babes is so nice looking into all this techy stuff for me to make my set up better for my youtube vids, because I have no clue when it comes to that stuff & what I need. Like it hurts my brain to try & understand it all so I just don't lol. I got a new lens for the camera though which is super nice. It's a wide angel lens, that way when I do my try on hauls my screen doesn't cut me in half lol, also we hooked me up with a microphone too so the sound quality will be better! So so sweet & excited for him to do all the things for it to work for me, because seriously me trying to set it up... HAH there would be no sound probably. Oh also, one more thing I almost forgot to mention is about my princess blogger room's flooring. So back when, when we were painting my room we had talked about changing the wood floor too, I just didn't have the time & money to invest on it then. Well, now surprise my room is going to get a NEW floor! I'm so excited to make it look nicer & get it all finalized, it'll just take some time to finish the rest but it's getting there.

To see all of these things for yourself watch my vlog below! I promise it's much nicer than just reading about it all like a tease lol.

I hope you all have a fun & safe New Years & I'll be chatting with you come 2019! I got lots of things in store for the new year, so definitely subscribe to my blog if you haven't done so already.

Hi loves,

Are you excited there's only 4 more sleeps till Christmas? Insane right! I really can't believe this month blew past how it did. I'm so excited though! I've been like EXTRA crazy busy per usual... Keeping up with all of this social media is a challenge when you get a full work schedule as it is. We're almost there though, & I'd say it's def been worth it. If nothing else it's been fun for me & it's a learning experience for sure.

So excited to share this post with you all, because I am in love with this dress! Larry & I got to go on a little photoshoot the other day (on my only day off lol) to get some new stuff for y'all.

PLAID TREND

So I'm not sure about your all, but I am totally down for all the plaid that has been out lately! Like, it's EVERYWHERE. Especially this red & black buffalo plaid print. It's always such a statement pattern & super easy to wear. This dress particularly I'm in love with because of the blousy sleeve & the ruffle skirt. It's not your typical shirt dress, it has just enough extra to make it stand out. I paired it with my OTK boots of course. I LOVE me some OTK. I'll wear them as much as I can with almost any look, lol. I chose to keep this a little more on the casual side I went with the flat boot options vs as a heel. For sure if you were going out on a date night or wanted to make it a little more dressy I def would rock the heeled option instead.

I hope you all are having the most merriest of holidays though & everything is falling into place perfectly. I know I feel scatter brained, but to be honest it all is going to fall right into place.

LAURA'S 10 DAYS OF GIVEAWAYS

As some of you may know I've been doing fun giveaways though my IG the past few days. I thought it would be fun for all & a nice way to show my love for you all supporting me! Tomorrow is DAY 7 - so click HERE to enter. I'm want to get to know y'all more too - so share with me what your favorite HOLIDAY COOKIE is in the comments on today's IG post!

Hi my pretties,

I recently just hosted a Holiday Party at Sephora & I'm sharing the details with you all here today.

So if your a beauty lover I'm pretty sure we can all agree that we LOVE SEPHORA! I mean they just have everything that we could ask for when it comes to beauty products.

Well I was super excited when they reached out to me to host this event. I mean who wouldn't love an hour to have all the palettes and glitters to play with & learn new techniques on how to use. The topic of choice for my party was "Holiday Glam" ya know seeing that this will be coming in handy currently. We played with quite a few palettes (there were more there than I thought existed) & we worked on mastering the smokey eye. Now did you know you can create a smokey eye with not only black/grey tone shadows? Well you can & there's so many beautiful options. I'll need to do a tutorial on the YouTube for y'all to show & explain better, but basically you just keep layering one color on top of the next... obvi starting with the lightest shade first. you can make a "natural" smokey eye or a more "glam" depending on the intensity of the crease color. It's really amazing how many eye options you can create with just one palette.

We also touched on brows, eyeliner, & lips. There's 2 main brow shapes we talked about whether you want a softer more rounded look ( more my go to) or if you're looking for that edgier intense look, then you just make the arch higher to angle more. Cat eyes are always a challenge...even for me & I have to do it everyday lol. They mentioned to stencil it out in a way rather than trying to create a straight line in one sweep. It's like connect the dots, & simply make a small triangle at the outer corner of your lid/lash line. And there's so many options you can always do with a lip, but I do suggest choosing to do something for sure. I hate a look without a lip, because I feel like it's in complete. You have to finalize it with the little pout. If you're doing a holiday look for instance like me I chose to keep my lip more natural to keep my eyes the main focus, but if you just wanted to go all out diva glam I could've totally put a red/berry lip on with this look. Oh I almost for got the glitter! So we all know I love me some glitter, what girl really doesn't. So to take my natural smokey eye to a night out in an instance we simply applied glitter to my lid! That's all, then I was done. It's crazy I tell ya just crazy how easy it is to change a look.

This day was the best though because I got to spend it with some of my closest friends. We had so many laughs and had a blast creating our makeup looks together. I think I loved feeding off each other and taking different ideas that each of us would do create our very own. I definitely recommend if you get a chance to host a party your local store, you won't be disappointed I'm sure.
