Transitioning into Fall

Bringing you some ideas on how to transition your wardrobe from Summer into Fall. It's especially hard for us Floridians, since it pretty much feels like Summer through Christmas. We headed to Disney's Boardwalk resort for this shoot, and can I just say how pretty the view was of the boardwalk at sunrise! WOW!

I have been wearing this pleated pink tank throughout spring and summer and I wanted to show it off and give y'all ideas on how to take your fave spring/summer tops and transition them into the next season. It may seem pretty easy or basic to just through on a jacket like duh, but styling with different accessories and shoes will also help mix up the vibe. Here I'm showing you it with my blush leather jacket and tan booties, but if I wanted to take it further into a fall/winter look I could change up the shoe and throw a OTK boot on or add a scarf on top of the jacket, or switch up the jacket to a cozy cardi. There's so many options and sometimes it's just hard to think of them when you're staring at your closet feeling like you have nothing to wear. Layers are key, especially for those of us in FL. Using this technique will help you get more wear out of your clothing throughout the year. My biggest things is always making sure the color palette will match at the time... I wouldn't wear bright yellow if it's fall, a mustard yes but no sunshine. That's honestly why I love this blush color, such a nice neutral and fits all seasons.
