Hi my pretties,

With spring blooming all around us, it's time to freshen our things up. Let's play a little and bring in a few new beauty products that are top selling and a definite must for your collection. Some of these are my ultimate favorites that are perfect for spring, some are new that I'm loving, and the rest are things I need to get my hands on.

Spring Beauty Essentials

FAVES

eyeshadow pallet: Too Faced | face tanning drops: Drunk Elephant | wand: T3 | blush: NARS

These things are like my top go to products, especially as of late! This eyeshadow pallet is the best when it comes to your neutrals. So many pretty colors that mix perfectly together. These tanning drops work wonders too for spring and summer. I never like to put self tanner on my actual face. It makes me nervous incase it turns out bad and also makeup is always a hassle to match then. I prefer using these drops in my face moisturizer to get a bronze glow. They work extremely well and wash off at the end of the day. As for this blush it's the perfect flushed shade of pink to put on your cheeks! Gives you a radiating glow. Last is the wand set, and this is hands down a must! I've had my wand trio for years now and it's my bff when it comes to my hair. The best wand ever!

NEW

self tanner: St. Tropez | lip: Charlotte Tilbury | gloss: Charlotte Tilbury | scrunchies: Slip

Even though spring has rolled in, I haven't had the free days to really get to the beach so this self tanning lotion has really come in handy. I recently got this one because of the watermelon scent seemed fun. It smells great and works amazing. Gives a gradual tan if used nightly, and works great to extend your tan. Now these lippies are new new to me and I am loving them! The shade of the lipstick is the perfect soft petal pink for spring and the gloss has a soft pink translucent shine that looks great added on top.

NEED

bronzer: hourglass | serum: Volition | hair shimmer: Bumble and Bumble | highlight: Anastasia

Now these items I just want! I've heard a lot about this face serum, and plus it's pink and strawberries so I want to try it out, lol. Y'all know I'm obsessed with highlights and this one is brand new. I want to try it in two of the shades actually... hollywood and snowflake. Simply perfection. This particular bronzer seems like just what I need to top off my self tanning regime. It has soft golden shimmer throughout to give off a candle light glow. Lastly, the hair shimmer just seems really fun!

Hi my pretties,

I've had a lot of questions about how I do my fake lashes so well. Well first things first, I've honestly been wearing falsies since I was like five! Not really, but pretty darn close to it because of growing up competing in dance competitions. So I'll list the steps below for you and what I use. Also, check out my YouTube today too, because I have a full on tutorial posted there of me actually applying them for you to see ;)

Glam Lashes in Seconds

WHAT I USE

lashes: 82s (from work), but these are awesome HERE | case: amazon | glue: House of Lashes

THE STEPS

1. I usually will snip about 3-4 lashes off the outer ends of my lashes. This is just because I find the band too long for my eye and they always end up poking me... so I just trim them slightly shorter.

2. Take your glue of choice, I'm using "House of Lashes" in the white. This particular glue is a wand style which is awesome! Simply brush a light coating onto the lash. You really don't need a lot. This stuff particular is super sticky in a good way.

3. I let it get tacky first. I either will blow on the lash or wave it for like a hot second. Not long at all.

4. Place your falsie on your lid! Now usually most would tell you to place right along your lash line, and this is true ... but I have a trick to make your eye look bigger. So on the inner end of the lash I place this right along my lash line, but as I place the outer edge of the lash down I take it slightly up away from my lash line. Not anything crazy, just a little higher so your lash is on angle. After your lash is placed on your lid, gently press it down to make sure the glue sticks.

5. After the eyelash is glued down, I quickly while the glue is still wet press up on your falsies. So open your eye and look up to press your fake lash up to a more standing position. This helps in the drying process to keep them lifted creating a bigger more cat eye effect!

6. Voilá! You're finished. All I do from here is add my liquid black eyeliner to make the lash line richer looking, and add mascara. I do use mascara after my falsies. I know some say never to do this, but it helps keep them lifted and blend in with your real lashes.

I hope these steps all made sense and that they'll help you the next time you try wearing fake eyelashes. If you have any questions just leave a comment below. Don't forget if you're a more visual learner to head to my tutorial HERE!

Hi friends,

Sharing a step by step on how create one of my most asked for hairstyles! I’m showing you how to create a front crown braid in a few simple steps.

How To Create a Front Crown Braid

STEP 1

First you need to move your hair over to one side of your head. Smooth over. Then take a rat tail/pick comb to creat the part. You’re basically parting your hair from front and back. I pull the back section into a ponytail for the time being to keep out of the way.

STEP 2

Take the front section and start to tease/back comb thin layers all the way across to the other side. This adds height and dimension to your braid... especially if your hair is thin like mine! After you get to the other side, just smooth over the top to take away the frizziness.

STEP 3

Start to french braid! No if french braiding is difficult for you, this may be the hard part, but it really isn't that bad. Start with a thin section of hair from the side flipped over the furthest. Then separate that into 3 parts! First, take the front piece of hair and cross it over the middle strand. Pick up another thin section of hair with the middle piece you just brought forward. Second, cross the back strand over the "new" middle strand and then add a thin section of hair to the back section. Continue to do this all the way across the front of your forehead. Once you get to opposite side pin the braid behind your ear. Make sure the bobby pins cross for the most secure grip.

STEP 4

You can leave the braid tight like how it is, or you can pull a part so it looks more full. Simply slide your fingers in and pull the braid in the opposite direction to loosen. You can then go to each individual section and pull out more that's desired.

STEP 5

Lock it in! I spray the heck out of the braid so it holds all day. After this you're done!
