Pink Ruffle Blouse

Hi loves, I got another fun look I want to share with y’all for today’s outfit share. Of course there’s pink, oh and wait there’s red too. I honestly wasn’t even trying to create another look with this color combo, but that’s the perfect example of how well they go together.

Ruffle Perfection

Ok, so I'm not gonna lie this blouse took my eye right away when I was perusing, but to be honest I didn't really see myself wearing it. It's like I love ruffles, but where these were placed kinda like a flock frock neck... I just didn't know. I kept coming back to it though, and that's when I know I really do like something. I'm so happy that I stepped outside my box on this one, because it's adorable! As soon as I pulled it out of the package, I knew she was gonna be cute on. Yes, this is something quite different for me. I don't really have a lot of nicer blouses per say... I'm more of a tee/sweater/layer kind of girl. I want to change that though and here's to one of the first in my collection. I think the ruffles around the neck line is super fun and flirty. Along with the lace detailing at the end of the sleeves. I chose to pair it with this high waisted plaid skirt to be a little more on the flirty side, but it would totally be super pretty with some skinny jeans too. Then you could switch it up and pair a wedge with it come Spring.

A little about the rest of the look now.

As for the skirt, I think it's adorable and I love me some plaid. The high waist cinches me in personally to where I'm feeling snatched, but she runs small. I actually ordered a size up thinking I would be safe, but I guess not. Like it fits, but it's super short and with any bit of a booty... it's a squeeze to get on. If there was just a little stretch to it, it would be great, but there's not. Then onto this designer dupe cross body. It's like after I caved and treated myself to the legit gucci belt, now I've been wanting one of these purses and I just can't right now. So I am here for the dupe! It's super close to being spot on. Of course the leather quality is a no, but it's not bad at all for a $35 bag. Then also, if you look closely at the logo, you'll notice it says "CG" & not "GG." After you realize that it kinda sticks out to ya, but again for the price it doesn't bother me.

For sizing reference, I'm wearing:

blouse - S (tts)

skirt - M (runs small, size up)
