Hi Lovelies,

I'm bringing you another informational video on how you are able to capture content on your own!

I brought you one of these tutorials just the other month, but I had a few of y'all asking for another and a little more in depth one. So, here ya go.

I'd say the hardest thing about being an influencer is GETTING THE CONTENT! I mean if I were able to do this as my full-time job, then it might be a different story. Seeing that it's not though and I actually work a ft job otherwise, along with 2 sides jobs... it gets a little stressful just having the content to share with you all. I love doing it though and have fun with it, but I def would say this is the most challenging part of the lifestyle.

When it comes to getting the images though, whether or not my boyfriend is in town he doesn't love doing it all the time and I understand that. So I discovered this technique to capture content ON MY OWN. To be honest it's quite nice because there's no one pressuring you to get the right shot, or getting frustrated that you're not happy with them and take five million more, or the hair wasn't laying right. It's just you doing you on your own time frame!

Take a peak below to watch where I headed for this particular shoot and see how I create my magic.

Hi Lovelies,

I'm spilling the beans to my Instagram feed!

I know most recently a lot of you have been super interested in getting the tea on how I create my feed and what apps I use, well get ready to enjoy your first cup of Laura's special brew.

I created a tutorial for this as well so it would be super easy for you to follow along and see exactly what I do to all of my photos I end up sharing across my platforms. First and for most, I love a nice edited photo, but I try my hardest to keep it real in the same sense! I play with lighting and other effects, maybe if I have a bruise I'll try to remove, but as for body image I keep true to me. There's nothing worse than seeing one thing on social media, then actually seeing another in person. Y'all be proud of who you are and just BE YOU!

I'm taking you through how I edit the lighting of my images today. The app I love and use for this is Lightroom. It's my go to. It's a total game changer! You would not believe how adjusting the lighting in a picture can dramatically make or break that particular photo. Lighting is EVERYTHING! If y'all follow me on Insta, then you already know my feed has a warm fairytale pink aesthetic to it. Go figure I choose this to create a cohesive look for my account. Adding this little element to all your photos adds that little extra personality to your photos. It doesn't matter what color theming or if you like more contrasted images, it all sets a tone for the people viewing to get to know you better. This app can be downloaded and used for FREE! There are features that you would need to sign up with the cloud and pay for to use, but all the things I show you in this tutorial are free.

Take a look at how I edit my images below. Feel free to ask questions (either in the comments here or on my YT), I promise I'll get back to you.

Also, are you interested in more information like this? LMK!

Hi Lovelies,

Sharing some inside secrets with you all today! I've been shooting ON MY OWN lately... Does it work? Do I look stupid? How? Well I'll be answering all of this and there's a quick like quick snippet of me demonstrating how the magic happens.

So WHY have I been shooting on my own? Well, Larry has been gone a lot due to his job. He's constantly traveling which cool for him, but it sucks on my end for more than just getting pictures taken! With this though it does make it really rough for me to get sponsored posts out in a timely manner. Leading to why I figured out this set up.

Do I look stupid? Heck YES I look like an idiot, but I don't care! I gotta get my content some how and this is working, so who cares if you look a little silly. Am I right?! Besides, you most likely will never see those people ever again - so it doesn't matter.

Now for the tricks! I invested in a phone tripod and a bluetooth clicker. That's it! Also, these items are super cheap and easy to use. I'll have them listed below for you. But yeah, all I do is extend the legs of the tripod then set my phone up in it. I use it on selfie mode for now, this was I can see myself. I'm sure I could get a little better quality if I flipped the phone around, but I haven't had the best of luck not cutting some part of me off the screen then lol. From here turn on the clicker and start shooting! I like to use portrait mode as much as I can, but sometimes I'll set it on regular so I can use burst mode to catch all the twirls and hair flips a little bit better ;)

Watch for yourselves! It's literally like 2 mins lol. Shot this the other day while I was in and out of the park. Not gonna lie, this was the busiest place I've ever tried this and def got lots of stares. Oh wells, lol! Oh and also, in order for me to catch the action on screen I had a sweet friend help me out just a little, but I promise I took all the pix.
