Hey friends,

So I know quite a few of you have been asking how I do my eyebrows for awhile now & I thought it would be nice to just share my routine with y'all. I'm not gonna lie I feel like doing my eyebrows is the longest step in my makeup routine, but that's also because I'm anal & they have to be perfect. I'll go through my routine below - if you're more into watching a tutorial you can find it on my YouTube HERE!

5 QUICK & EASY STEPS

So although it takes me the longest to do these, I can create my brow in 5 easy steps. I could totally cut a few of these steps out of my routine, but I think they add that little bit of extra to create a perfect defined locked in look.

STEP 1

Using my pencil I outline the start & end of my eyebrow. I have a lot to fill in when it comes to the center portion of my brows, & I feel like the pencil is a must in order to create the shape. It also helps make it look more natural rather than super drawn on. The starting point of your brow should go straight up from the crease of your nose. The end point is determined from the crease of your nose to the angel of the outer corner of you eye. Lastly the arch is created in the mid way point between the two.

STEP 2

After I have the shape made, I then go in with the dipbrow to fill in & make look full. This stuff is absolutely AMAZING & if you were to only use one of these products I would have to say it should be this one! This is the only thing I used for quite sometime & then I decided to make my eyebrow process longer lol. But for reals, this stuff is great.

STEP 3

After they're pretty much drawn on, I could be done here but I like to go in with my powder to fill in the extra little sheer spots. I'll brush the hairs in their opposite direction to see where they still need more filling in & I feel like the powder does a great job for this. It's not too harsh & you can go as light or as heavy as needed.

STEP 4

LOCK IT IN!

I like to use this clear brow gel to set my brow. You just did all of this work, you sure as hell don't want it to budge. They do make tinted brow gels, but I prefer the clear.

STEP 5

This is an optional step as well, but in my opinion I think this give your brow the extra pop & definition it deserves! Make your brows a statement, let them be fierce & frame your face! This dual highlight stick makes your arch look so defined and cleans up any smudges or flakes that may have occurred. You use the shimmer end first then use the matt side right over top. I blend out with a flat brush so it look even & not as harsh of a line.

And that is that! 5 easy steps, it really doesn't take that long it's just getting use to the products & how they apply & figuring out your perfect shape. All my products are from Anastasia Beverly Hills (they're linked below), & I use the shades "Caramel" & "Taupe." No worries though there are tons of shades to choose from.

Tutorial below:

Hi my pretties,

I recently just hosted a Holiday Party at Sephora & I'm sharing the details with you all here today.

So if your a beauty lover I'm pretty sure we can all agree that we LOVE SEPHORA! I mean they just have everything that we could ask for when it comes to beauty products.

Well I was super excited when they reached out to me to host this event. I mean who wouldn't love an hour to have all the palettes and glitters to play with & learn new techniques on how to use. The topic of choice for my party was "Holiday Glam" ya know seeing that this will be coming in handy currently. We played with quite a few palettes (there were more there than I thought existed) & we worked on mastering the smokey eye. Now did you know you can create a smokey eye with not only black/grey tone shadows? Well you can & there's so many beautiful options. I'll need to do a tutorial on the YouTube for y'all to show & explain better, but basically you just keep layering one color on top of the next... obvi starting with the lightest shade first. you can make a "natural" smokey eye or a more "glam" depending on the intensity of the crease color. It's really amazing how many eye options you can create with just one palette.

We also touched on brows, eyeliner, & lips. There's 2 main brow shapes we talked about whether you want a softer more rounded look ( more my go to) or if you're looking for that edgier intense look, then you just make the arch higher to angle more. Cat eyes are always a challenge...even for me & I have to do it everyday lol. They mentioned to stencil it out in a way rather than trying to create a straight line in one sweep. It's like connect the dots, & simply make a small triangle at the outer corner of your lid/lash line. And there's so many options you can always do with a lip, but I do suggest choosing to do something for sure. I hate a look without a lip, because I feel like it's in complete. You have to finalize it with the little pout. If you're doing a holiday look for instance like me I chose to keep my lip more natural to keep my eyes the main focus, but if you just wanted to go all out diva glam I could've totally put a red/berry lip on with this look. Oh I almost for got the glitter! So we all know I love me some glitter, what girl really doesn't. So to take my natural smokey eye to a night out in an instance we simply applied glitter to my lid! That's all, then I was done. It's crazy I tell ya just crazy how easy it is to change a look.

This day was the best though because I got to spend it with some of my closest friends. We had so many laughs and had a blast creating our makeup looks together. I think I loved feeding off each other and taking different ideas that each of us would do create our very own. I definitely recommend if you get a chance to host a party your local store, you won't be disappointed I'm sure.

I wanted to let y'all know about this because of course I will be shopping the event to stock up on some of my fave products and also this is a great time to try new things out! I'm sharing some of my NEW beauty picks for you and giving you my two cents on them all. Also, learn some of my holy grail products that are a must in my regime!

Skincare

I have been using these 2 products for quite some time now & absolutely LOVE them! Thank you Murad for bringing me an eye cream that I feel like actually helps with the under eye circles and fine lines. Also, for keeping my skin nice and hydrated, this serum is AMAZINGGG.

And who wouldn't love their nightly mask to be full of glitter?!? That's right, this Glam Glow mask is first of terrific, but secondly it looks so cool. I just love it. I use this about 1-2 times per week. I like to switch my masks up, but this is my fave.

Makeup

As for my Holy Grail products I'll share those first because I absolutely hands down could not compete my look without these:

These items are part of my daily routine and I can never go without! The dipbrow is amazing for filling in my eyebrows. Yes, I have several steps to completing my brows, but if I had to choose 1 prod to do so this would be it. And OMG this setting powder ahhhh game changer! I had doubts before I purchased it because I honestly wasn't one to really use setting powder, and it's a lil pricy, but this is so so good & worth every penny. It sets my makeup beautifully and stays all day. What I love best is my under eyes along with my concealer! It has done wonders in that region. This liquid eyeliner is my got to to get a nice rich black outline of the eye and it's great for making wings ;) Also, it lasts all day. Lastly, this illuminating highlighter is just BEAUTIFUL!!! FAVE of all faves for sure and I love adding touches of this to my face to brighten and shine.

And just to dish a little about some of there newer prods that I'm still testing out and seeing if I really love:

Fenty & Tatcha primers

Both of these primers I enjoy, have I been able to tell a huge difference yet when using either one... no. I really enjoyed the Fenty and now I'm testing out the Tatcha because it's suppose to be great at covering and blurring. I will say that this one particularly feels thicker. I need to use more to really have an opinion, but the Fenty is very nice and lightweight and I feel like it blurs very well! Now, my old go to mascara was Too Faced "Better Than Sex", but lately I have been really digging this one from Tarte. I love how tiny the wand is. It's great for getting the corners of your eye, and the formula doesn't leave your lashes looking like spiders. It's very nice and coats thinly, but looks dramatic! Lastly, one of my newer eye shadow palettes struck me from the announcement. This "Soft Glam" palette is so so stunning. Her shades are always so pigmented which is great and lasts you much longer. I will say it has more nudy/peachy shades vs the "Modern Renaissance" pallet which has lots of mauvy/pink shades. I love both, just have been playing with color combos to find my new fave for a bit.

Well that's enough of me yapping about things I like, now you need to hop on the ball and get to the store! Or shop online like me ;) Don't miss out this weekend. Stick up and try new if your budget allows... I always wish mine allowed more lol.
